Guide
DLIMS — the Driving License Information Management System — is the name Punjab, Islamabad and AJK use for their own licence systems; Sindh calls its system DLS, and KP and Balochistan verify through their traffic police. A Punjab licence is on DLIMS Punjab, an Islamabad licence on ITP DLIMS, a Sindh licence with DLS, a KP licence with KP Traffic Police and a Balochistan licence with Quetta Traffic Police. Search the one that issued the licence.
Your CNIC, without dashes. Punjab and Islamabad also ask for the licence number, and Punjab for the licence type — regular, international or juvenile; KP and Balochistan need only the CNIC. Foreign nationals use their passport number.
New Punjab applications, renewals and duplicates are now made on Dastak, the Punjab government’s one-window app; verification and tracking stay on dlims.punjab.gov.pk. A learner permit is Rs 500 per category and a one-year car licence Rs 1,350 plus Rs 480 courier — see the full Punjab fee structure.
Many sites use “DLIMS” in their name. They are not police services and cannot verify a licence. Only the official sites linked here can.
