Punjab

Punjab e-challan (Safe City)

Camera tickets in Lahore and other Punjab Safe City cities are issued by the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) on its e-challan portal. It did not load when we checked on 22 October 2026 — from our servers or a normal browser — so we have not written step-by-step instructions we couldn’t test.

To pay a ticket you already have, Lahore City Traffic Police lists 1Link, a mobile banking app, ATM, Easypaisa, Mobicash and TCS. For help, call 15.

Guide

How e-challans work

E-challans come from cameras that read the number plate, so they are issued to the vehicle’s registered owner — not whoever was driving. If you sold a car without transferring it, its tickets still come to you.

There is no national e-challan check. Karachi and Sindh use TRACS (helpline 1915), Islamabad uses Islamabad Traffic Police (051-9001541), and Punjab uses Safe City. A Punjab ticket won’t show on the Islamabad site, and the other way round.

Sindh asks for the owner’s CNIC, the registered mobile number and the vehicle number. Islamabad takes either the vehicle number or a CNIC, without dashes.

A Sindh e-ticket carries a PSID, which you pay through 1LINK internet or mobile banking — within 30 days to avoid extra penalties.

Run the car’s number through the e-challan check of the province it drives in, as well as the vehicle verification record. Ask the seller to clear any tickets before the transfer.
