Sindh cuts the yearly tax to 75% once a private car completes ten years since first registration, and to 50% after fifteen. A 1300cc car registered in 2010 pays Rs 1,000 instead of Rs 2,000.

Sindh’s car rates come from the Sindh Motor Vehicles Taxation (Amendment) Act 2021, and the Sindh Finance Act 2026 left them unchanged. What is new: in 2026 Sindh amended its motor vehicles law to require valid third-party insurance before a vehicle is registered, transferred or has its yearly tax paid.
The FBR advance tax collected with the token is the same in every province — see the full filer and non-filer table.

Open Online Vehicle Verification on the Sindh Excise website (or in its app) and choose Four Wheelers or Two Wheelers.
Enter the registration number (Karachi, Hyderabad or any Sindh registration), or use Vehicle Verification by CNIC to see every vehicle in your name.
Complete the security check and open the record — it is the Excise department’s own motor vehicle register.
Sindh Excise also has its own Online Tax Calculator; the calculator above adds the FBR advance tax so you see the full amount.
Guide
Sindh cuts the yearly tax to 75% once a private car completes ten years since first registration, and to 50% after fifteen. A 1300cc car registered in 2010 pays Rs 1,000 instead of Rs 2,000.
At first registration, Excise Sindh lets a car up to 1000cc pay a one-off Rs 20,000 lifetime tax instead of Rs 1,500 a year — its own Four Wheeler tax calculator includes it by default. With it, the FBR advance tax is taken as a Rs 10,000 lump sum for filers instead of Rs 800 a year.
The Act also gives each band in kilowatts (49.7 kW, 64.6 kW, 79.5 kW, 99.3 kW and 124.2 kW), so vehicles rated by power rather than cc use those limits. We don’t estimate a special electric-car rate for Sindh because we couldn’t verify one.
For most cars the federal advance income tax (section 234) is larger than the Sindh token: Rs 2,500 for a 1300cc car against Rs 2,000 of provincial tax. Excise Sindh charges non-filers three times as much, and it stops after ten years in use.
