Overview
The Suzuki Alto is Pakistan’s volume city hatch — short, light, and cheap to run. On the 2026 list three upgraded grades sit between PKR 2,994,861 and PKR 3,326,446 ex-factory. Freight, taxes, and registration sit on top. Booking is about 20% to Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited.
A naturally aspirated 658 cc three-cylinder petrol makes 39 HP / 56 Nm. Manual or AGS automatic, front-wheel drive, four seats, and a 27 L tank keep running costs in check. Claimed economy spans roughly 16–22 km/l depending on trim and traffic.
Exterior
Asymmetric grille, compact lamps, and 145/80 R13 steel wheels keep the look simple. Overall size is 3395 × 1475 × 1490 mm on a 2460 mm wheelbase with 170 mm clearance — easy in tight mohallas. Four colours cover Solid White, Pearl Black, Silky Silver, and Mineral Grey. VXL adds full wheel caps and mirror indicators.
Interior
Four seats and a 125 L boot define the cabin: fabric trim, upright driving position, and rear space for short trips. Power windows front and rear are standard on the upgraded lineup. Expect city-hatch practicality, not family-MPV room.
Infotainment
VXR keeps a basic audio path. VXR AGS steps to a standard LCD unit with Bluetooth and USB. VXL AGS brings a 6.0-inch touchscreen — still modest, but enough for maps via phone and daily media.
Engine / driving
All three share the R06A 658 cc petrol. The base VXR Upgraded uses a 5-speed manual; both AGS grades use Suzuki’s automated manual. Top speed is listed near 140 km/h. Steering is light for parking; the car feels happiest below highway cruise speeds.
Safety
Upgraded Alto packs dual airbags, ABS, and ISOFIX. Higher AGS grades add EBD; VXL lists hill-start assist and a clearer defogger package. It is basic by modern SUV standards, but stronger than older VX-era cars.
Mileage
PakWheels lists about 16/20 km/l (city/highway) for VXR manual, 18/22 for VXR AGS, and 18/20 for VXL AGS. Real figures swing with AC load and traffic. The 27 L tank suits daily city hops more than long motorway runs.
