Overview
The Toyota Corolla is still the sedan most Pakistani buyers measure everything else against. Six factory trims are listed for 2026, from the Altis X Manual 1.6 at PKR 6,099,000 to the Altis Grande X CVT-i 1.8 Black Interior at PKR 7,709,000, all ex-factory Karachi before freight, taxes and registration. Booking is a flat PKR 2,000,000 and pay orders are made out to Indus Motor Company Limited.
It is the 11th-generation Altis X, not the newer global 12th-generation car, and that is the honest trade: familiar parts, resale and a dealer in every town against a cabin that has been on the road here for years. Same-brand shoppers who want a taller body can look at the Toyota Corolla Cross; this page is the four-door sedan.
Exterior
IMC quotes 4620 mm long, 1775 mm wide and 1475 mm tall on a 2700 mm wheelbase, with a 470-litre boot and a 55-litre tank. The Altis X face is the chrome grille and LED-ready lamps on the higher trims; the 1.6 Manual still wears halogen lamps and 15-inch steel wheels with full caps. The 1.6 Special Edition and both 1.8 grades move to 16-inch alloys on 205/55 R16 tyres, LED projection headlights and LED tails. Six official colours are listed: Super White, Silver Metallic, Graphite Grey, Attitude Black, Strong Blue and Phantom Brown.
Interior
Five seats, a flat rear floor and that 470-litre boot are why families keep coming back. The base Manual and 1.6 CVT-i stay on fabric; the Special Edition and Grande grades add a sunroof, automatic climate control and a smarter key. Grande is the only cabin that feels dressed: partial leather, a leather-stitched wheel, an auto-dimming mirror and a choice of Prestige Beige or Passion Black. There are still no rear air vents, which back-seat passengers notice in a Karachi summer.
Infotainment
Every trim gets a 9-inch touchscreen with navigation-ready software, Bluetooth, USB and steering-wheel audio buttons. The 1.8 grades add Toyota Connect on a more connected 9-inch unit, plus a front camera to go with the rear camera that is already on the 1.6 automatics. It is a clean, familiar layout rather than a screen-count war.
Engine / driving
Two Dual VVT-i petrols, both front-wheel drive. The 1598 cc four-cylinder makes 120 HP and 154 Nm — six-speed manual on the base car, seven-speed CVT-i on the other 1.6s. The 1798 cc unit in the 1.8 and both Grandes makes 138 HP and 173 Nm through a seven-speed Sport CVT-i with sequential shift. Grande adds paddle shifters, cruise control and a Sport mode. Turning circle is 5.4 m. This is a calm motorway sedan, not a quick one.
Safety
IMC still fits only dual front airbags across the range, plus ABS with EBD and brake assist, ISOFIX anchors, an immobiliser and a GOA body with crumple zones. Vehicle stability control is on the list; there is no lane-keep or autonomous braking pack like you get on newer crossovers. The 1.8 grades add a front camera. Two airbags is the dated part of this car and the first thing to weigh against resale.
Mileage
Listed consumption sits in a 12–17 km/l band depending on engine, gearbox and traffic. The 1.6 Manual is the thriftier daily car; the 1.8 Grande spends a little more for the extra 18 horsepower. The 55-litre tank covers a long intercity run if you keep the air-con sensible.
