BMW iX2 2026 Overview
The BMW iX2 is the electric coupe-SUV of BMW's compact range — the same running gear as the iX1 under a lower, sloping roofline. Dewan Motors brings it in as the dual-motor xDrive30 at PKR 25,600,000 ex-factory, a small premium over its more upright sibling for a sportier look.
Exterior
It is 4,554 mm long and only 1,560 mm tall, so it sits noticeably lower than an X1 while keeping 167 mm of ground clearance. The fastback rear ends in a short integrated spoiler, the wide kidney grille sits between slim LED headlights, and flush handles keep the doors clean. Wheelbase is 2,692 mm, the same as the iX1.
Interior
Despite the sloping roof the boot is bigger than you might expect: 525 litres, or 1,400 litres with the rear seats folded. Up front, sports seats and a floating centre console frame the curved display. Rear headroom is tighter than in an iX1 for tall passengers — the trade-off for the coupe shape.
Infotainment
BMW's Curved Display combines the digital instrument screen with a central touchscreen running BMW Operating System 9, with touch and voice control. Navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and wireless phone charging are part of the package, and the My BMW app shows charge status and pre-conditions the cabin.
Electric powertrain and driving
One motor per axle gives all-wheel drive and 313 hp with 494 Nm. It reaches 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds and tops out at a limited 180 km/h. Steering is quicker-geared than the iX1's, which suits the iX2's sportier brief, and the low roof gives it a more planted feel at speed.
Safety
Standard equipment includes front, side and head airbags plus a centre airbag between the front seats, stability and traction control and tyre-pressure monitoring. Parking sensors, a reversing camera and the Parking Assistant help with the wide rear pillars.
Range and charging
The 64.8 kWh battery is rated at 417–449 km WLTP; in Pakistan's summer heat plan for less. DC fast charging at up to 130 kW takes it from 10 to 80% in about 29 minutes, and an 11 kW wallbox fills it overnight in around 6.5 hours.
Variants
One version is sold in Pakistan: the iX2 xDrive30 with dual motors and all-wheel drive. Packs and colours vary by shipment, so confirm the specification with Dewan Motors when booking.
Alternatives
The BMW iX1 shares the drivetrain with a more practical, upright body. For a similar coupe-SUV shape at a lower price, look at the XPeng G6 or the BYD Sealion 7.
