Tank 500 2026 Overview
The Tank 500 is Sazgar’s flagship GWM off-roader for Pakistan — a body-on-frame SUV sold as a seven-seat HEV and a five-seat PHEV. Listed ex-factory prices as of January 2026 run from PKR 20,500,000 to PKR 22,500,000 (PKR 2.05 – 2.25 crore). Freight, taxes, and registration sit on top. HEV delivery is listed around 7 months; PHEV around 6 months. Pay orders go to Sazgar Engineering Works Limited. Bookings opened 26 January 2026.
This is a larger, dearer sibling of the Haval H6 from the same group. Palisade is the closest hybrid three-row on price. Fortuner is the volume Toyota ladder-frame seven-seater. Prado sits well above this band.
Tank 500 exterior
The 500 is a 5.08 m box on a 2850 mm wheelbase — 1934 mm wide and 1905 mm tall — with a rear-mounted full-size spare, side steps, roof rails, and a panoramic sunroof. Ground clearance is 224 mm on the HEV and 213 mm on the PHEV. Both grades sit on 20-inch alloys (265/50 R20), PCD 6×140. The turning circle is 6 m. Colours on the current list: Onyx Black and Ivory White.

HEV is a seven-seater. PHEV is a five-seater. Both cabins get powered leather, a head-up display, wireless charging, and a surround-view camera. Boot space is listed at 795 litres. HEV kerb weight is 2810 kg; PHEV 2850 kg.
Tank 500 infotainment
The stack is a 14.6-inch Android screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12.3-inch digital cluster, and a 12-speaker setup. Steering switches and a 360 / 540 camera are part of the kit.
Tank 500 hybrid powertrain
Both trims use a 1998 cc turbo petrol four, AWD, and a 9-speed automatic. HEV combined output is 342 HP and 648 Nm. PHEV steps to 402 HP and 750 Nm. Top speed is listed at 200 km/h. Drive modes include Eco, Normal, Sports, Snow, Sand, Rock, Mud, Auto, and Expert. The hybrid battery is covered for 8 years / 150,000 km. HEV towing is rated at 3,000 kg. PHEV lists about 120 km of EV range and around 950 km combined.

Shared kit includes six airbags, ABS, EBD, stability and traction control, hill-start and hill-descent assist, ISOFIX, blind-spot detection, lane-keep and lane-departure warning, adaptive cruise, autonomous emergency braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and a 360 / 540 camera.

Claimed fuel average is 12–14 km/l on the HEV with an 80-litre tank. PHEV uses a 70-litre tank and is listed around 8.4 L/100 km on the combined cycle, with AC charge in about 7 hours and DC 10–80% in about 24 minutes.
