Isuzu D-Max on installment: what to know

The entry Isuzu D-Max — the Hi-Spark S/C M/T — costs Rs 106,166 a month with Bank Alfalah: 63% down (Rs 5,103,000) and 36 months at 16.54%. The X-Terrain works out to Rs 104,353 a month, but only because it needs 78% down (Rs 10,444,200) — with the loan capped at Rs 3,000,000, pricier variants mostly raise the upfront payment, not the installment. Figures use each bank’s published rate on 2 October 2026 and the ex-factory price.

State Bank of Pakistan rules allow one person to borrow at most Rs 3,000,000 for a car, across all banks. Once the price is above Rs 4,285,714, a 30% down payment would leave more than Rs 3,000,000 to finance — so the minimum rises. On the Isuzu D-Max that means 63% for the Hi-Spark S/C M/T and up to 78% for the X-Terrain. Most comparison sites still quote 30% here, which no bank can approve.

The Isuzu D-Max is above 1000cc, so the State Bank caps car financing at 3 years. Ads that show five- or seven-year D-Max plans are out of date.

Over 3 years on the Hi-Spark S/C M/T, Meezan Car Ijarah comes to Rs 113,724 a month at a fixed 14.75% — and that rental already includes takaful and the tracker. Bank Alfalah Auto Loan is Rs 106,166 at 16.54% variable, before insurance, which you pay separately. A variable rate moves with KIBOR every year; Meezan’s does not.

Besides the down payment, budget for the bank’s processing fee, comprehensive insurance (included in Meezan’s rental), and registration — token tax, withholding tax and number plates. See the full Isuzu D-Max on-road price by province, and the monthly running cost for fuel and maintenance.
