Overview
The Hyundai Santa Fe is Nishat's locally assembled seven-seat hybrid SUV, sold in two factory grades: Smart at PKR 13,258,000 and Signature at PKR 14,720,000, both ex-factory before freight, taxes and registration. Booking is a flat PKR 3,000,000, pay orders go to Hyundai Nishat Motor (Private) Limited, and listed delivery is about a week when stock is on the ground.
It is the MX5 Santa Fe — boxy, wide-tailed, three rows — not the older TM car. Combined output is 227 HP and 350 Nm from the 1.6 turbo-hybrid on both trims. Smart is front-drive; Signature adds HTRAC all-wheel drive. Buyers who want a longer, dearer Hyundai three-row should look at the Palisade; this page is the family hybrid.
Exterior
Nishat quotes 4785 mm long, 1900 mm wide and 1710 mm tall on a 2765 mm wheelbase, with 176 mm of clearance. Both grades sit on 19-inch alloys and 235/55 R19 tyres, with LED lamps, T-shaped DRLs and roof rails. Six official colours are listed: Polar White, Metallic Silver, Magnetic Force, Oxford Blue, Diamond Metallic Black and Rain Forest.
Interior
Seven seats, a panoramic sunroof and a 782-litre boot behind the second row. Dual-zone climate and rear vents are on both cars; Signature adds third-row air. Smart gets heated fronts and an 8-way powered driver's seat with lumbar; Signature adds a powered passenger seat plus heated and ventilated fronts. Kerb weight is 1918 kg on Smart and 1983 kg on Signature.
Infotainment
A 12.3-inch cluster sits with an 8-inch floating touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging and a heated wheel. Signature steps to 9 Harman Kardon speakers and a head-up display. It is a cleaner pair of screens than most seven-seaters at this money, without the Palisade's wider theatre.
Engine / driving
The same 1598 cc turbo-hybrid and 6-speed automatic on both grades, making 227 HP and 350 Nm combined. Smart sends that to the front wheels. Signature adds HTRAC AWD with Snow / Mud / Sand terrain modes. Paddle shifters, cruise and Eco / Sport / Smart drive modes are on the list. Turning circle is 5.7 m. The 67-litre tank is the long-trip argument.
Safety
Six airbags, ABS, stability and traction control, hill-start, downhill brake control, a rear camera and front/rear parking sensors are standard. Signature adds blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic warning and a surround-view camera. That is a fuller active suite than the Smart, and the main reason to spend the extra PKR 1,462,000.
Mileage
Listed consumption sits in a 13–15 km/l band. The hybrid is at its best in city traffic; the AWD Signature spends a little more for the extra hardware. Treat 15 km/l as the hopeful city number and 13 as a loaded motorway run.
